Jeannette Webb has worked with high school students for over 35 years helping them develop skills in public speaking, leadership, and interviewing as well as prepare effective applications for scholarship competitions. She earned a B.S. and M.S. from Oklahoma State University and was that institution’s first Truman Scholar. She spent a decade with the OSU Cooperative Extension Service as 4-H and Youth Development Specialist and Resource Management Specialist before she became a home educator in 1993. In 2005, Jeannette received the Presidential Scholar Distinguished Teacher Award from the U.S. Department of Education. That same year, she founded Aiming Higher Consultants to meet the unique needs of students with big dreams.
As an Educational Consultant for 13 years, Jeannette works with families to plan a high school academic and extracurricular program that meets each student’s needs. She helps find the best college fit and helps clients plan a marketing strategy that conveys the exceptional life each teen has led. She takes the mystery out of applying to college since she helps with the college personal statement, college admissions essays, interviews, scholarship applications, and important school documents. Her goal is to understand the heart of each individual student and help them effectively tell their story to busy college admissions officers. Jeannette works with students from around the world who want to apply to U.S. colleges.
